A New Season of "Bizarre Foods" Starts Tonight

Ok, this show is hosted by a guy and there aren't too many women around but you know I like weird edibles so I thought I'd pass it on. Really, it's fascinating to watch.

Host Andrew Zimmern, a chef and food writer in another life, travels the world immersing himself in local culture with an open mind and an adventurous stomach. I've seen this show a few times and watched Andrew chow down on bugs, invertebrates, and anything that used to be attached to an animal. I swear the only thing Andrew doesn't like is fruit (he gaged on the durian).

Tonight's premiere has Chef Zimmern in Puket, Thailand. Future episodes have him (and you) exploring Goa, Hawaii, Texas, Thailand, Samoa, Maine, Paris, Los Angeles, Sicily, Africa, Korea, Australia, Fiji, and Appalachia.

Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern airs Tuesdays on the Travel Channel at 10pm (ET/PT). Immediately following tonight's season premiere (11pm ET) fans will have the opportunity to chat live with Andrew on the official Bizarre Foods fan page at travelchannel.com/bizarre
