Buying a Bargain

Hi guys! There are a lot of things i could have based todays blog on, however me and my mum had a 'little' shopping spree. no, we didn't go to one of the  amazing london markets. We went to second-hand shops.
before you judge it's not just old peoples clothes, yes i admit that there are a large amount of them but if you dont like it dont get it. I haven't taken a photo of all  of the things we got, because we did get a fairly large amount of things.

So one of the first things we were looking for were cool unique looking records. They're price range in charity shops are from around 50p to £2. If you have a couple you could put them up on your wall and make it a feature wall.

This bag isn't to everyones taste but it would be good for the beach. well it was £1.99 so i'm not going to complain.

It was all in practically brand new condition and all for £10!
(BTW, if i bought this brand new it would be around £70! not to shabby huh?)

The picture i took really doesn't make the dress look flattering. But trust me when i say its very cute.

once again i'm going to mention that my terrible photography does ruin the appearance of this zara dress.

So belts are one thing that i just can't be bothered to pay more than a fiver for. All of these were £2. You really do find some of the most intriguing stuff when your in a  second hand shop.

It's rather nice to have a big top that you can wear when you want something comfy. Knitwear is also an option.

So has anyone been watching Goks clothes road show? As he said raspberry is coming in this year.
Whether you're getting a dress, accessory or hat try find something with a pretty, bright colour.
(e.g.  Teal, olive, dark goldenrod, cadet blue, celery, plum and pumpkin.)

Lace is something I've always admired. I said it in my last blog but still...
I rather prefer old lace to new. I quite like the light papaya whip colour it has.
I can't really say how much lace costs as it really does vary.
However my mum got these for a good deal. it was 4 for a pound. Good huh?

So i hope i've persuaded some of you that second-hand shops aren't that bad. In fact i find it a lot more fun then shopping normally. Probably because most shops have similar things nowadays, where else second-hand shops have a massive range of styles. Oh, there's a good handful of designer clothes too.  However i am going to warn you that you have to be patient and have an open mind. Don't worry the clothes aren't in bad condition either.

anyway i'll post again soon!
 bii!
